Creating a Thriving Workplace Culture

In today’s fast-paced world of healthcare, we realize the importance of creating a positive workplace culture. Here at The Fremont Senior Living, we understand to achieve this culture, employees must trust their workplace.

Each August, The Fremont participates in the Great Place to Work Survey. This is a time when staff can be open and honest about their feedback. A third party collects the data, ensuring it remains truly anonymous. It is so important for us to hear the good, the bad, and the ugly to know what we can work on to truly make our community a great place to work.

As the Business Office Director, I actively promote employee appreciation by consistently recognizing our hard-working team members. We maintain an open-door policy, encouraging all employees to speak freely, confident that their voices are heard and valued. At The Fremont, we love planning fun events that both employees and residents can enjoy together, creating lasting memories.

We also regularly spotlight employees who go the extra mile, and sometimes, we mix it up with something completely random and fun—like recognizing who drives the furthest to work or who has the most pets.

We believe when done right, making work a fun place creates a workplace culture that helps people thrive, promotes retention, and makes us a great place to work, which in turn makes us a great place to live.
